In mixer bowl, add 1 Tbsp. sugar to warm milk. Add yeast and let sit for 5 minutes. In a separate bowl, add salt, melted butter, remaining sugar, egg and 2 cups flour. Add to yeast mixture and mix until dough is fully incorporated. Slowly add remaining flour and mix until the dough does not stick to sides of bowl. Knead dough for 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Spray a bowl with cooking spray and put dough in the bowl, turning once. Cover and let the dough rise until doubled in size. Divide dough into two pieces. Roll one piece out into a 10 x 6-inch rectangle. Roll dough up to create a loaf and place in in greased loaf pan. Repeat with remaining dough. Cover and let rise until doubled. Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove loaves from pan and brush with melted butter.
