Harvest continued in Southern Oklahoma over the weekend, with great strides being made in several areas along the Red River corridor up into areas around Lone Wolf, Hobart and Gotebo. Machines even got some cutting done out by Sentinel and Rocky, with harvest just getting started in Central regions and far Northern regions where rains late Friday and early Saturday hindered progress again.
Rains across Southern Oklahoma today also stopped progress from being made. It has been reported producers have started cutting as far North as Pond Creek and Medford. A more in-depth report will be released on Wednesday June 14th. The Oklahoma Wheat Commission is calling harvest for Oklahoma 28 percent complete.
